Lettuce Alive is a family owned farm, producing hydroponic lettuce all year around. Hydroponic lettuce is grown in a greenhouse and all of their products are sold with the roots still attached. This means that your lettuce is still growing until the time that you pick the leaves in the kitchen! This allows for the freshest lettuce possible, something that YFM thinks is pretty awesome!

Lettuce Alive at YFM: We get their amazing, hydroponic boston and green leaf lettuce all season long. We also carry their basil (when available)! This basil is fantastic, as the roots are still attached and all you have to do is place it in a mason jar, with a little water, and leave it on your kitchen counter to use as needed! It usually keeps for 3+ weeks!
