Clovermead Apaires is a honey farm located in Aylmer, Ontario. The business began in 1975 as a small honey business, and has since grown into a buzzing honey store and adventure farm with many fun activities for the entire family. The farm has an abundance of activities including a corn maze, pedal carts, wagon rides, giant jumping pillows, rubber duck racing, tractor tire climb, tug o’ war and many more!

For the Hiemstras, beekeeping has been running in the family for a long time. In 1975 Henry Hiemstras began selling honey in the garage behind his house and decided to name his operation Clovermead. In the late 1980’s Henry and Ann moved and restored an old log cabin on their farm for their honey business, then in 2000 Henry’s son Chris bought the business and started restoring antique buildings and barns for more fun activities to do at Clovermead. Over the years Chris and wife Christy have brought home and restored corn cribs, pig houses and even antique outhouses to add to the adventure farm.
